Dates
The hackathon registration, building period, and submission deadline will be announced on the event page. All projects must be submitted before the deadline to be eligible for judging. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Eligibility
This hackathon is open to all full-time and part-time employees of the company. Participants may work solo or in teams of up to four people. Each participant may only be a member of one team. Contractors and external collaborators are not eligible to participate.
Project and Submission Requirements
All projects must be built during the hackathon period. You may use existing libraries, frameworks, and open-source tools, but the core idea and implementation must be original work completed during the event. Projects must be internal tools intended to benefit the company's operations, workflows, or revenue. Each team must submit a working demo, a short video walkthrough, a written description of the business impact, and a link to their code repository by the submission deadline.
Prizes
Winners will be selected across categories and recognized at the final showcase. Winning projects will be considered for official adoption and production deployment within the company. Additional prizes will be announced prior to the event.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated by a panel of internal judges based on the following criteria: business impact (how meaningfully does it save money, make money, or improve efficiency), feasibility (is it realistic to build and maintain), technical execution (is it well-built and functional), and presentation (is the problem and solution clearly communicated). The panel's decisions are final.
